Dr. Jon Peddie is one of the pioneers of the graphics industry, and formed Jon Peddie Research (JPR) to provide customer intimate consulting and market forecasting services. Peddie lectures at numerous conferences on topics pertaining to graphics technology and the emerging trends in digital media technology. Recently named one of the most influential analysts, he is frequently quoted in trade and business publications, and contributes articles to numerous publications including as well as appearing on CNN and TechTV. Peddie is also the author of several books including Graphics User Interfaces and Graphics Standards (1992), High Resolution Graphics Display Systems (1994), Multimedia and Graphics Controllers (1994), a contributor to Advances in Modeling, Animation and Rendering(2002), a contributing editor of The Handbook of Visual Display Technology (2012), and a contributor to State of the Art in Computer Graphics, Visualization and Visual Analytics (2012).

Kathleen Maher is an experienced analyst tracking content creation and design software. Maher is the Editor-in-Chief of JPR's TechWatch Report, one of the most respected insider reports published today. She is the author of several well received reports including the 3D Modeling and Animation Report, The CAD Report, and also reports on video animation, print, and audio software. She the Editor in Chief of GraphicSpeak, a website covering graphics hardware and software, Contributing Editor for Computer Graphics World, a frequent contributor to Connect Press, and a contributor to the Handbook of Visual Display Technology (2011).

Before coming to Jon Peddie Research, Maher was a founding editor for several publications including the Austin Chronicle, a successful politics and entertainment magazine, which has won several awards and has launched the careers of many notable writers in the fields of political journalism, entertainment, and fiction. Maher also helped launch Interactivity, a monthly multimedia magazine for creative professionals. She was Editor-in-Chief of Cadence Magazine, an award winning resource for CAD users.

For the past 25 years, Alex has been involved in the architecture, engineering and marketing of 3D graphics, video, and microprocessor chips. At Jon Peddie Research, Alex’s focus is fixed on the markets, technologies and products related to computer graphics and professional client computing. Alex authors JPR’s Workstation Report and writes for TechWatch, and as a consultant continues to advise companies competing in the graphics and semiconductor businesses.

Ted Pollak has been following the video game industry for over 20 years. The majority of Ted’s career has been in the field of investment management where he has experience with companies such as Wells Capital Management, SDR Capital Management, and Hambrecht & Quist. Combining his knowledge of games and finance, he founded and launched the Electronic Entertainment Fund, an investment partnership focused on entertainment technology. Ted is the Senior Gaming Analyst for JPR, where he contributes to TechWatch, writes an industry report, and provides consulting in various areas of entertainment technology.

Marilyn produces JPR’s biweekly report on the business of graphics and multimedia. She returned to JPR after a break to earn an MS degree in Architectural and Urban History from Berkeley. Marilyn has worked extensively in publishing in a range of positions from production manager to editor to creative director and has designed corporate collateral and developed and managed websites for JPR and other high-tech companies.
