Enflame Technology (Suiyuan Technology), founded in 2018 in Shanghai by former AMD executives Zhao Lidong and Zhang Yalin, develops AI training chips for cloud data centers. Their Suisi 2.0 chip uses proprietary GCU (General-purpose Computing Unit) architecture built on TSMC’s 12nm process. Major customer Tencent deploys their Cloudblazer T20/T21 accelerator cards for AI workloads. The company has completed 10 funding rounds and launched Suisi 3.0 in 2023. They’re pursuing A-share IPO through CICC guidance, positioning as a domestic alternative to Nvidia amid China’s self-sufficiency strategy.
