Acer has announced its Iconia X- and Iconia A-series tablets. Acer says the tablets support both productivity and entertainment, powered by Android, vivid displays, and AI-enabled features that enhance everyday experiences.

Acer equips the Iconia X12 with a 12.6-inch WQXGA (2560×1600) AMOLED panel in a 16:10 format. The display operates at 60 Hz, reaches 400 nits peak brightness, and integrates in-cell touch for low-latency input. The chassis uses a matte-black finish and a 500 g mass, so users can handle the tablet for extended sessions without fatigue. The system runs a MediaTek Helio G99 and pairs it with 8GB LPDDR4X and 256GB of storage; the microSD slot accepts cards up to 1TB. Power management targets as much as 16 hours of operation per charge, subject to workload and settings. A 13MP rear camera with flash supports low-light capture, while a 5MP front camera handles video calls. Four speakers deliver stereo playback in landscape and portrait orientations. Connectivity features include dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port with USB-PD 2.0 for charging and data.

Acer offers optional X12 accessories. The active stylus supports note-taking and sketching. A detachable keyboard adds a trackpad for pointer input and shortcut access. A magnetic kickstand locks at multiple angles to stabilize the display during typing, media viewing, or conferencing.

The Iconia X14 expands the canvas to a 14-inch OLED at 1200×1920, with wide viewing angles and a ZeroFrame layout. The processor integrates a neural processing unit and operates with up to 8GB LPDDR5 and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage; the microSD slot increases capacity to 1TB. Acer ships several on-device AI features that run on the NPU. AI Smart Sensing interprets gestures and posture to adjust the interface and provide ergonomic prompts. AI Super Resolution upscales video content in real time to improve apparent detail. Smile Camera monitors the preview and triggers the shutter on a smile or an OK gesture. An 8MP rear camera with flash and a 5MP front camera handle imaging and conferencing. The battery supports about 10 hours of mixed use per charge. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4; the USB Type-C 2.0 port handles charging and peripherals. The Iron Gray chassis incorporates a built-in kickstand for desk use without extra hardware.
