OpenAI and AMD entered a strategic agreement to expand large-scale AI compute capacity. AMD will become a core supplier alongside Nvidia, starting with the Instinct MI450 series and continuing through future platforms. AMD granted OpenAI warrants for 160 million shares, vesting at 1-6 gigawatt deployment milestones tied to price and performance targets.
