SiFive adopts Nvidia NVLink Fusion, pushing into AI data-center fabric

SiFive and Nvidia have announced a collaboration to integrate Nvidia NVLink Fusion into SiFive’s RISC-V server compute platforms. This enables coherent, high-bandwidth connectivity between SiFive’s RISC-V CPUs and Nvidia accelerators. The development signals a rare alignment of open-ISA innovation with mainstream AI infrastructure needs. (Source: JPR AI) SiFive and Nvidia revealed a strategic integration of Nvidia NVLink Fusion technology into SiFive’s high-performance RISC-V compute platforms for data-center use. With NVLink Fusion’s coherent, high-bandwidth interconnect, SiFive will be able to link RISC-V CPUs directly to Nvidia GPUs and other accelerators, with reduced latency and improved data sharing, addressing a core bottleneck
