DMP expands its AI IP processor portfolio

The company gets more edgy.

Digital Media Professionals Inc. (DMP) launched the DV740 AI processor IP in 2020, succeeding the DV720 with improved capabilities for edge AI inference. The DV740 supports FP16 floating-point operations, runs cloud-trained AI models without modifications, and delivers up to 2 TOPS at 1 GHz with 1kMAC units. It features high-bandwidth on-chip RAM (512 KB–4 MB) and 8-bit weight compression. Target applications include robotics, surveillance, drones, and AR/VR. DMP recently introduced the Di1 SoC, combining AI inference, 3D ranging, and image processing for comprehensive edge AI solutions. Digital Media Professionals Inc.
