Arm stops hinting and starts shipping

Launches first production silicon CPU for AI data centers.

Arm has taken the step it has been circling for years, launching the Arm AGI CPU as its first production silicon product for AI data centers. The announcement matters less because Arm made a chip—everyone expected that eventually—and more because it suggests the company now believes it can translate its own IP into competitive, real-world silicon.  (Source: Arm) No longer content to remain only an IP supplier, Arm has announced the Arm AGI CPU, its first production silicon product.  Arm says the processor is aimed at AI data centers handling agentic AI workloads, and positions it as an Arm-designed CPU
