JPR has released the latest MarketWatch report that tracks quarterly GPU shipments. Shipments during the first quarter of 2012 behaved according to past years with regard to seasonality, declining from the previous quarter; however, this quarter’s decline (of 0.8%) was less than the ten-year average of 3.1%. Autodesk Inc. said Thursday that is first-quarter profit rose 14 percent as revenue rose sharply, it expects revenue in the current quarter to be between $580 million and $600 million.
