Autodesk Brings AutoCAD WS Mobile App to Android

Autodesk has released an Android version of AutoCAD WS, the mobile app that views and edits DWG files. Like the original version for the Apple iOS environment, the free web and mobile application uses cloud computing technology. The product will be available for download starting April 20, 2011. Intel announces a new version of its Atom chipset platform

Specifically designed to power tablet devices Oak Trail will start shipping in devices next month with design wins from customers including Evolve III, Fujitsu Limited, Lenovo, Motion Computing, Razer, and Viliv. The Workstation market continues healthy growth, hitting new high in Q4’10

Researchers discover ‘pruned’ microchips are faster, more energy-efficient

A research consortium have discovered a techique to make average computer chips better by trimming away rarely used circuits. Error correction more than makes up for the loss.
