AMD opened up a new front in the processor fight with the announcement of the Z-Series of APUs for Windows 8 tablets. AMD is touting “all-day” power with the dual-core Z-60 running at 1 GHz supporting resolutions upto 1920×1200. The first tablets based on the AMD Z-60 APU are expected to launch globally this year in conjunction with availability of Windows 8. Read more on the Z-Series HERE.
