The lost interview from 1995 was recorded in low-resolution VHS, and restored by state-of-the-art technology from MotionDSP. After Jobs’ death in October 2011, director Paul Sen started looking for the tapes and found a VHS copy of the interview. “This,” says Cringely “is undoubtedly the only surviving copy of the best TV interview Steve Jobs ever gave.
