Jon Peddie Research’s Mt. Tiburon Test Lab (MTTL) puts Nvidia’s new RTX 5080 AIB to the test.
Nvidia has released the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 AIBs. Last week, JPR’s Mt. Tiburon Test Lab (MTTL) published the results of its RTX 5090 findings, following rigorous testing in our review of Nvidia’s new 5000-series add-in boards. Now, our MTTL has done the same with the RTX 5080, the replacement for the RTX 3080 Ti.
We pitted the RTX 5080 against the RTX 4080 Super and RTX 3080 Ti in a plethora of tests. The results are telling. We found the RTX 5080 to be a value, delivering state-of-the-art performance at an affordable price.
