The yin and yang of wanting more power and less heat for CPUs and GPUs.

Andy Patrizio, contributor for JPR The big issue I see happening this year is a reckoning when it comes to heat generated and power consumed by CPUs and GPUs. While server vendors and data center operators are being browbeaten and nagged to be more energy efficient and conform to ESG requirements, the desktop/gaming side of the same coin—Intel, AMD, Nvidia—is saying damn the ESG, I want more power and speed.
