$30 million more invested in AIP start-ups

Quadric gets the latest injection, but far from last.

Quadric, an AI processor start-up, shifted from selling its own chips to licensing IP in 2025. This transition allows Quadric to avoid high manufacturing costs and focus on edge-AI growth. The company’s Chimera IP core is programmable and scalable, and it can be integrated into customers’ SoCs. Quadric has raised $72 million, including $30 million in Series C funding, and is now profitable, generating double-digit millions in revenue from IP licensing.
