Fujitsu’s GPU, CPU optimization and allocation system

Fujitsu has introduced new technology for optimizing CPU and GPU utilization by dynamically prioritizing high-efficiency processes, addressing the global GPU shortage. The technology is to be integrated into a future workload broker. Fujitsu’s technology enables real-time switching between the CPU and GPU for simultaneous program execution, enhancing efficiency and reducing processing time. The company also plans to apply these advancements to its AI platform and quantum computer simulator, as well as to explore applications for its Fujitsu Computing as a Service HPC and the Composable Disaggregated Infrastructure architecture, aiming for widespread access to cost-effective, high-performance computing resources.
