Ainekko merges with Veevx after Esperanto pickup

Combining open-source AIPs and iRAM.

Ainekko just merged with Veevx, bringing together some interesting puzzle pieces for edge AI. Veevx brings iRAM memory technology based on MRAM, which uses less power than traditional SRAM, plus embedded AI accelerators designed for inference. Douglas Smith from Veevx, who spent years managing IP at Broadcom, joins the team. This comes after Ainekko picked up Esperanto’s RISC-V architecture. The goal? Create an open-silicon platform where developers can actually design custom chips without needing permission from big semiconductor vendors. Think accessible hardware design for AI applications.
