At GTC 2023, the focus on this growing technology was everywhere.

Generative AI generated a lot of attention at GTC 2023, as Nvidia unveiled a suite of cloud services that advance enterprise-level generative AI and enable customization in areas like text (with NeMo), visual content (with Picasso), and biology (with BioNeMo). Nvidia’s GPU Technology Conference (GTC) held this week can be summed up as “everything AI everywhere all at once.” In particular, the emphasis has been on generative AI, which has rocketed to the forefront of consciousness. For the unfamiliar, generative AI is artificial intelligence that creates original content. Until now, AI has been largely confined to analytical type of work.
