HP’s Elite Chromebook   AMD has announced that it is offering its new Ryzen 5000 C-Series chips, including the first 8-core high-performance x86 processor for Chromebook builders. And it has two design wins for the new Chromebook chips: the HP Elite c645 14-inch G2 Chromebook with smart card and fingerprint sensors, positioned for the enterprise market, and the Acer Chromebook Spin 514, also a 14-inch model.  Acer’s 2-in-1 laptop will launch in Q3 2022 with a $579.99 starting price. Acer introduced its first Chromebook, powered by AMD’s Ryzen 3000, in January 2021 for $480 and an enterprise version for $750.
