AMD posts in-line but mixed Q2 results

The company offered a strong Q3 outlook on AI sales.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) reported a robust Q2 2025 with $7.7 billion in revenue, up 23% from last year and 3.4% from Q1, surpassing analyst expectations of $7.42 billion. Data center sales, including Epyc CPUs and Instinct GPUs, accounted for half, reaching $3.2 billion (up 14%). Client and gaming segments hit $3.6 billion (up 69%), with record $2.5 billion in client revenue from Zen 5 Ryzen processors and $1.1 billion in gaming from Radeon GPUs (up 73%).
