AMD’s powerful Pro products proliferate

Expands workstation line of AIBs.

(Source: AMD) AMD has introduced two new additions to its Radeon Pro W-series AIBs—the W7500 and W7600. These AI accelerators belong to the 7000 series and feature RDNA2 GPUs. AMD ran tests comparing them to the older W6600, and the results show improved performance, especially in areas like 3D CAD, visualization, content creation, animation, and video and photography. Notably, the W7000 series Pro AIBs are the first to offer DisplayPort 2.1 with UHBR 10 capabilities, providing enhanced bandwidth for high-resolution monitors. The W7500 and W7600 will be available in Q3, offering impressive performance and power efficiency compared to Nvidia’s AIBs.
