Arm NSS

Arm neural technology, the first integration of dedicated neural accelerators into Arm GPUs, is set to debut in 2026. Its launch application, Neural Super Sampling (NSS), promises 2× resolution upscaling at ~4 ms per frame with claimed near‑native quality. Accompanying this hardware reveal is an open Neural Graphics Development Kit, complete with Unreal Engine plug-in, Vulkan emulator, and open models, to empower developers immediately. At SIGGRAPH 2025, Arm announced a shift in its GPU roadmap with the introduction of Arm neural technology, a hardware-software initiative that will see dedicated neural accelerators embedded directly into Arm GPUs starting in 2026.
