New gains in subscriptions and ARR bolster the company Autodesk had a good first quarter for their fiscal year 2018 and in fact saw several unexpected milestones. This was the last quarter overseen by the dueling CEOs, Amar Hanspal and Andrew Anagnost. Since that announcement Anagnost is in (as of June 19) and Hanspal left to seek his fortunes elsewhere. The company did just fine under their leadership, continuing to raise subscription revenues, and transition maintenance customers to subscription.
