Axelera.AI’s Europa emerges from the Netherlands

Targeting AI datacenter applications

Jon Peddie

Axelera.ai’s Europa chip delivers 629 TOPS at 45 W, combining eight AI Processing Units and sixteen RISC-V vector cores for real-time edge inference. Integrated pre/post-processing and onboard video decoding reduce CPU load and data movement. With 128 MB L2 SRAM and 200 GB/s bandwidth, Europa supports generative AI, vision, and robotics. Axelera.AI says the Voyager SDK enables scalable, accessible YAML-based pipelines. Europa delivers 629 TOPS with integrated pre- and post-processing, enabling AI workloads across enterprise servers, robotics, automotive infotainment, and edge systems. It consolidates operations, runs complex models locally, and supports real-time processing for multi-user Gen AI and autonomous applications
