Exynos 2400 Xclipse 940 GPU looks ready for battle

Samsung’s Exynos 2400 features the Xclipse 940 GPU, employing AMD’s RDNA 3 architecture. Despite undisclosed specs, the GPU achieved 1,656 points in the Sacred Path Vulkan 1.3 benchmark in October 2023, indicating improved performance. However, thermal issues persist, with notable throttling. The Xclipse 940 supports ray tracing, variable rate shading, and FidelityFX Super Resolution. Samsung claims a 70% performance boost over the Xclipse 920 GPU, with capabilities for QHD+ screens at 144 Hz and 4K screens at 120 Hz.
