Foundry moves to annual subscriptions

New licenses of products within the Nuke family—Nuke, NukeX, Nuke Studio, Hiero, HieroPlayer, and Nuke Render—are now available through an annual subscription. According to Foundry, the transition to subscription pricing aims to provide customers with a more flexible way to purchase; with a lower initial cost, subscription pricing enables customers to purchase more flexibly as their business grows and changes with new shows or projects. Subscription customers will continue to receive the same benefits as perpetual license owners, with a choice of either an offline or online login-based licensing system (available recently for Nuke 14.0 and onward), and floating rights
