Google invests $12 million in the unofficial VR app store SideQuest

SideQuest allows their million monthly users to play thousands of games on their Meta Quest that Meta will not. Their platform is an unofficial alternative to the Meta Store, where users can download and play experimental games that would never make it to the official platform.
