Innatera opens Pulsar to sensor developers

Neuromorphic silicon reaches developers through DigiKey.

Jon Peddie

Innatera has opened its Developer Program, giving engineers access to Pulsar neuromorphic processors, software tools, and evaluation hardware through DigiKey. The program combines Python-based development with event-driven computing for always-on sensor applications. Pulsar integrates spiking neural networks, a CNN accelerator, and a RISC-V controller in a compact package. Developers can evaluate presence detection, keyword recognition, and industrial monitoring while measuring power consumption on actual silicon. European distribution has begun, with additional markets scheduled through the end of 2026. Innatera has launched its global Developer Program, combining a new Developer Portal with Pulsar evaluation hardware available through DigiKey. The rollout begins
