Innatera seeks to build a neuromorphic ecosystem

Partnering with VLSI Expert in India.

Jon Peddie

Innatera, a Netherlands-based AI processor start-up, is tackling neuromorphic computing’s adoption hurdles through a partnership with VLSI Expert. The collaboration focuses on education, tooling, and hands-on access to Innatera’s Pulsar neuromorphic platform. The goal is to give students and engineers direct experience with event-based computing, addressing the ecosystem’s readiness. With Pulsar’s ultra-low-power edge processing and real-time analysis, Innatera aims to position neuromorphic computing as a practical option for energy-constrained AI workloads, beyond niche research. Netherlands-based AI processor start-up Innatera is working to reduce some of the obstacles limiting the adoption of neuromorphic processing. They hope to accomplish this by forming
