Intel bounces back ever so slightly in Q3 2023

Sales and income exceeded projections but given what they have on the market, sales should have been much higher. Intel sees a drop in sales of both client and server processors year-over-year but continues to grow sequentially. What do we think? Intel’s earnings had no nasty surprises, but nothing really pleasant, either. The Foundry and Mobileye gains were nice, but a drop in the bucket. They have not had a full quarter of sales for the 14th generation Core desktops and notebooks, so it’s too early to declare them success or failure, although that 400W TDP has got to be
