Intel gains new add-in board partner, Sparkle

Taiwanese-based Sparkle Computer re-enters the GPU AIB consumer market.

Sparkle Computer of Taiwan has been out of the GPU add-In board market for over 10 years, but earlier this week, the company released three new offerings based on Intel’s Arc technology. Sparkle, once an Nvidia add-in board partner throughout the early 2000s, only to drop out of the consumer GPU add-in board business, has returned, this time teaming up with Intel to offer a new line of AIBs based on Intel’s Arc technologies.
