Combined with massive layoffs and soaring unemployment, the economic engine of the world is traumatized and forecasting is all but impossible. Intel is not immune to any of that and, as a result, has reported a decrease in quarter-to-quarter sales and profits are down, but compared to last year’s second quarter, things look good—it’s all a matter of perspective.
