Intel resets its AI accelerator roadmap

Gaudi remains active as Intel pivots.

Intel still sells Gaudi 3 and supports Gaudi 2, yet its stand-alone AI roadmap has changed substantially since Gaudi 3 arrived in 2024. Falcon Shores will remain an internal development vehicle rather than become a commercial accelerator. Intel has since added inference-focused Crescent Island, with customer sampling planned for the second half of 2026, while Jaguar Shores remains the longer-term GPU architecture.
