In June 2015, Swedish game developer Starbreeze acquired InfinitEye, and the product became StarVR.  iQIYI’s 4K VR HMD with 8k scalers At CES 2016, Shanghai-based Pimax introduced their dual screen VR HMD with (1920 × 2160 per eye). And then in 2017 the company introduced its dual 4K unit (2× 3840 × 2160) and a 200-degree FOV, aptly named Pimax 8K.
