Loongson 9A1000 GPU development

A TOPS number but no NPU.

Loongson Technology has completed development of its first discrete GPU, the 9A1000, which begins tape-out this year. Positioned as an entry-level graphics card with AI acceleration, it supports OpenGL 4.0 and OpenCL ES 3.2, achieves ~40 TOPS, and matches Radeon RX 550 levels. The chip improves 4–5× over Loongson’s prior graphics and scales below AMD’s XDNA 2 NPU. Loongson also plans the 9A2000, projected near RTX 2080 performance, and a future 9A3000.
