Netrasemi announces its 6th chip

Six-year-old Indian AI processor company stays at 12 nm.

Netrasemi says its A2000 edge AI SoC is being offered in sampling engineering kits with selected customers. The Indian start-up built the chip on TSMC’s 12 nm process and designed it around a heterogeneous graph stream architecture for vision, AI, vector processing, and video workloads. The A2000 anchors a broader roadmap that includes the R1000 AI microcontroller and R4000 chiplet processor. For OEMs and silicon teams, the product centers on scalable in-house IP and reference design readiness. The A2000 is the fourth of six chips in the company’s portfolio.
