Nvidia clobbers Q3 projections

Revenue rose a stunning 205% over the prior year to $18 billion, and the company is projecting higher for the next quarter.

Nvidia trounces even the most optimistic of expectations with its third-quarter numbers but warns that restrictions in sales to China may impact future earnings. What do we think? Something not getting a lot of attention is Nvidia’s networking business. On the latest earnings call, CFO Colette Kress said networking is a $10 billion per year business (annualized), and the company just announced new high-speed networking specifically for generative AI.
