Nvidia pushes neural rendering deeper into graphics

RTX tools combine neural rendering, geometry, and AI development.

Jon Peddie

Nvidia continues to move AI deeper into the real-time graphics pipeline with RTX Kit 2026.3, RTX Mega Geometry 2.0, and DLSS 5. The releases expand neural texture processing, lighting, geometry, character rendering, and DirectX integration while extending support to Windows Arm64. At the same time, an independent developer used Claude Opus 5.5 to construct an RTX-accelerated path tracer in roughly an hour, illustrating how generative AI may also change the way developers create graphics software. Nvidia expands the RTX development stack. Nvidia has released RTX Kit 2026.3 and RTX Mega Geometry 2.0, extending its developer stack across neural rendering, path
