Nvidia’s earnings beat expectations

Data center revenue less than expected.

Nvidia exceeded earnings expectations but missed data center revenue targets at $41.1 billion versus $41.3 billion projected, causing stock decline. Revenue grew from $26.2 billion year over year, excluding Chinese H20 chip sales. Cloud providers contributed half of data center revenue. The company projected Q3 revenue of $54 billion, beating $53.4 billion estimates, and authorized $60 billion in stock buybacks.
