Q1 to Q3 not looking good

Don’t expect a turnaround until Q1’24.

TSMC’s sales performance in Q1 is seen as a leading indicator for the performance of companies like Nvidia, Intel, AMD, Apple, and Qualcomm in Q2 and Dell, HP, and Lenovo in Q3. The drop in hardware sales will be followed by a drop in software sales for games, CAD, DCC, and so forth. Consoles like those from Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo are also in the same category as systems. The forecast for Q1 is down, and there may not be any real good news until Q1’24.
