At CES 2026, Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon X2 Plus, the latest addition to its Snapdragon X-series platform. With six to 10 cores, this platform is positioned as an efficient processor to compete for the mainstream market in consumer and SMB. While Snapdragon X2 Plus is necessary to reach volume in the market,  there is something exciting going on at the top of the product line with Snapdragon X2 Elite and Elite Extreme.
