Shader Execution Reordering, Opacity Micromaps added to DirectX

Microsoft’s updated DirectX Agility SDK introduces Shader Execution Reordering (SER) and Opacity Micromaps (OMM), enhancing ray-tracing efficiency. The 1.717-preview adds Cooperative Vectors, enabling shader threads to run neural network inference with hardware acceleration. Shader Model 6.9 includes HLSL and DXIL enhancements for vector and matrix operations. These tools support modern graphics workloads like neural rendering.
