Slow down the sanctions, says SIA

Restrictions could hurt sales with the passage of the CHIPS and Science Act last year.

The Semiconductor Industry Association (SIA) has urged the Biden administration to refrain from implementing further trade restrictions with China. SIA emphasized the significance of trade with China and expressed concerns that additional restrictions could undermine the progress made with the CHIPS and Science Act. They called for dialogue and assessment of the impact of current and potential restrictions before imposing them.
