Steel Nomad set to become the flagship benchmark for UL

What do we think? Steel Nomad will be a welcomed edition to the UL benchmark suite. Steel Nomad is slated to replace Time Spy, which was released in back in 2016, as 3Dmark’s recommended benchmark for measuring the non-ray-traced gaming performance of high-end PCs running various operating systems. Solar Bay, released in August 2023 as UL’s most demanding benchmark focused on ray tracing, will be joined by Steel Nomad, providing gamers and reviewers with benchmarks that will provide a solid test for next-generation graphics cards and PC hardware.
