Stereo 3D (S3D) technology, once quiet after limited success, is seeing a resurgence. Following Sony and Acer, Lenovo unveiled its Legion 9i concept notebook, a hefty desktop replacement. It features an 18-inch PureSight display offering 4K in 2D and 2K in 3D, with variable refresh rates up to 440 Hz. Powered by high-end Intel and Nvidia components, it promises significant performance. Despite this, with limited S3D game support at launch, it’s expected to remain a niche, albeit desirable, product.The stereo 3D (S3D) business was pretty quiet for quite some time, having not lived up to its promise in S3D TVs
