Ubisoft’s Ghostwriter makes writing game scripts easier

Ubisoft’s AI Ghostwriter tool can’t replace writers, but it can handle the smaller stuff so writers can focus on more important dialogue.

At GDC, Ubisoft showed off more details about their new AI writing tool called Ghostwriter. It is an in-house tool created by Ubisoft’s R&D department that helps support the writing process by writing barks. In an open-world game, writing barks—lines or sounds that NPCs make when triggered, such as two NPCs having a short conversation as the player passes by—eats up a lot of time.
