Battlefield 6 beta is described as both big and tiny in a detailed review on BabelTechReviews (BTR), JPR’s sister site. “Big” when it comes to the game’s battles; “tiny” when it comes to the arenas. The result: chaos—and not in a good way.

Huy Nguyen devoted a good deal of time putting the beta through its paces, testing every map and mode for BTR.
The conclusion: “This isn’t Battlefield as we know it—this is something else entirely.” The experience feels like it’s on fast forward, and the tight, claustrophobic arenas replace the grand, sweeping battlegrounds that defined the franchise, the review states.
However, the visuals are impressive, as the Frostbite engine continues to impress, but they come at a cost.
