Microsoft to pay out $8.5 Billion for Skype

In the largest deal in the history of Microsoft the software company swoops in to acquire Skype. Skype the leader in IP voice calling and video conferencing was being wooed by both Google and Facebook before Microsoft made their $8.5 Billion offer.
