The Khronos Group introduced WebGL to a packed house at GDC on Thursday. WebGL delivers hardware accelerated 3D and interactive content on the web with no plug-ins. WebGL is a web implementation of OpenGL ES and as such it has all the capabilities of that API with support for shaders, particles, dynamic shadows, skeletal meshes, and so on. Check out the new WebGL here.
