Cooler Master recently announced the MasterLiquid 360 Ion and the MasterLiquid 360 Atmos, two next-gen coolers that bring cooling performance to a new level. At Computex 2023, Cooler Master also introduced MasterLoop, which allows budget customers to try custom water cooling.

Cooler Master is taking a cool, new approach to keeping CPUs, well, cool. The company recently announced the MasterLiquid 360 Ion and the MasterLiquid 360 Atmos 360mm AIO coolers at Computex 2023.

High-end gamers prefer liquid cooling because it is quieter and more efficient than air cooling. These new products combine both liquid and air cooling to keep computers cool while they tackle difficult tasks like ray tracing.

The MasterLiquid 360 Ion is the company’s new flagship water-based performance cooler, featuring a dual-chamber pump and three Mobius 120P ARGB fans. A 2.1-inch LCD screen displays system information such as the CPU temperature, allowing users to track system safety directly from the hardware.

While the MasterLiquid 360 Atmos doesn’t include an LCD screen, it still includes a dual-chamber pump and three SickleFlow Edge ARGB fans. Users can maintain immersion during gaming with these silent fans and showcase impressive computer builds using the stylish colors. The pump covers for this model are created with recycled plastics that fit Cooler Master’s sleek aesthetic.

Cooler Master also unveiled what it is calling its MasterLoop open-loop water cooling series. The MasterLoop series is a DIY cooling solution comprising fittings, tubes, a water pump, and water blocks—components that enable users to design their own cooling solution for a unique look. How cool is that? Previously, budget customers had no access to the expensive hobby of open-loop cooling, which requires an elaborate computer build and a small fortune. These MasterLoop products are bringing this niche hobby to a wider audience.

The new flagship cooler, alongside the suite of other products, has made a liquid-cooled splash at Computex 2023. The company also released a few new peripherals, such as a haptic engine gaming chair and Street Fighter-themed gear.

What do we think?
Cooler Master is known for its high-end CPU cooler products. Liquid cooling costs more than air cooling, but the liquid technology is more efficient and quieter. Any customer looking for peak performance will want the best liquid coolers, and the MasterLiquid Ion 360 will become a contender in that regard. It’s worth noting, Cooler Master displayed a lot of offerings at Computex—many functional, some a strangely unique, but all infusing personality into the products.
