After a pandemic hiatus, the 2023 installment of Vulkanised, the premier Vulkan developer conference, will take place in person in Munich, Germany, on February 7–9, 2023. However, the call for submissions from the Vulkan developer community is now open to the public and will close November 4, 2022.

Interested participants can submit a short proposal including a 250-word synopsis of what the talk or poster will be about and what the audience will learn from it.

The Vulkanised 2023 Review Panel, made up of representatives from the Khronos Vulkan Working Group, will review and select submissions based on:

  • Technical details offered and insights to be learned
  • Relevance and timeliness of the presentation to Vulkan developers
  • The presenter’s credentials and expertise in the subject matter
  • Any previous public speaking experience—new speakers are always welcome

The conference and meetup, organized by the Khronos Group, started in 2017. After being held in person for three consecutive years, the event took place virtually in 2021. The event brings the Vulkan developer community together to share knowledge and gain insight into the latest Vulkan API developments, extensions, applications, techniques, technologies, and tools.

The upcoming three-day event will feature application case studies, keynote presentations, tutorials, workshops, panel discussions, technical talks, and more. There will be a wide range of topics of relevance to those using Vulkan.
